Aged Green Peppercorn Goat Cheese

This soft ripened cheese is made by adding green peppercorns into fresh goat cheese curd. The curd is then shaped and aged just long enough to develop its edible white rind and crumbly smooth interior. The taste is deliciously earthy, with a slight lemony tang and a spicy kick from the green peppercorns.
Coach Farm was started in 1985 by Miles and Lillian Cahn, who are also the creators of the famous Coach Leather line of products. Following the traditional methods of French farmstead cheese making, Miles and Lillian
began their new venture turning out authentic, artisanal goat cheese that was once found only in the remote villages of France.
After 25 years, Coach Farm still operates as a farmstead goat dairy, following the same methods of turning out handmade artisanal cheeses and yogurts started by the Cahn family.
