Aiva Raw Honey, is a generous gift from the pristine mountain region of Nagorno-Karabakh. In the spring, at an altitude of 1,000 feet, bees gather pollen from thyme, sainfoin, clover, dead-nettle, sage, mignonette and currant flowers. By mid-June, the bees are transferred to a height of 5,300 feet. These ecologically pure regions are free from insecticides and artificial fertilizers. Such conditions guarantee the finest, most aromatic honey. Never heated or filtered, Aiva All Natural Raw Honey retains the beneficial traces of pollen, propolis, vitamins, enzymes and trace minerals.
Following the old Armenian tradition of nomadic travel, our honey producers migrate with thousands of hives to different elevations where abundant wildflowers are blossoming.
