Semifreddi's recipe for biscotti highlights one main ingredient: freshly roasted almonds--not blanched or peeled, but slowly and gently roasted accented with a hint of cinnamon. And, as if these cookies weren't amazing enough, we then have them draped in thick, dark premium California chocolate.
Despite our best packing efforts, from time to time a cookie will break in shipping. Trust us, they taste just as good as unbroken cookies. And on really hot days, the chocolate biscotti may melt a bit. Pop it in your refrigerator and it will soon be restored.
