Duck Leg Confit

Duck Phyllo Bundles

Serve as an entree. Other Maple Leaf Farms products may be used for the confit meat: Roast Half Duck, Rotisserie-style Roast Half or Duck Breasts, or Pulled Duck Meat.

  • 9 oz. Maple Leaf Farms Duck Leg Confit, deboned and diced
  • 12 oz. feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 1/2 oz. parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 oz. green onions, chopped
  • 3 eggs, blended
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
  • 3/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 6 sheets phyllo dough
  • 3 Tbsp. clarified butter, melted
  • green onions, chopped, as needed


1. Combine duck, cheeses, onions, eggs, garlic, parsley, oregano and pepper.

2. Cut phyllo sheets into thirds; shingle 3 sheets. Place 4 ounces of filling into center of phyllo sheets; wrap phyllo around filling. Place top side down on greased sheet pan; brush with butter.

3. Bake at 350° F for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Place on plate; garnish with green onions.
