Introducing our newest, hottest jelly--Ghost Jelly. It's made from habanero but gets it's "sneaky heat" from the Ghost pepper. Ghost pepper, aka Bhut Jolokia, is triple the heat of a habanero.
Pepper jelly is something I grew up with. I remember my mom and her friend making pepper jelly and laughing with their facemasks and rubber gloves on, grinding jalapenos through a meat grinder. Mom passed away in 2008 and everyone continues to miss her. So, I thought I would make a few batches of her jelly to share. The Heavenly mild pepper jelly is my mom's original recipe, her name is also Suzanne (I'm a junior). I was told by some--usually men--that they liked their pepper jelly with a little kick, so I developed Purgatory and Hell Fire.
