Macadamia Nut Blossom Honey, 47-oz. jar
user rating
Floral and nutty flavor, velvety texture, and a dark chocolate color. The Big Island's Macadamia orchards are located primarily on the southern and eastern part of the island. We move our bees into the orchards in February and begin extracting the honey in March. This is a terrific and healthy substitute for syrup on pancakes or waffles. It also works well with fruit salad and herbal tea. You can see more recipes on our blog, such as Sue Heim's recipe for figs, goat cheese, and Macadamia honey.
Flowers are to honey as grapes are to wine, and nectar from Hawaii's rare flowers produce some of the most distinctive and flavorful honeys. Our beautifully packaged single floral Hawaiian honeys are a delicious way to share and explore Hawaii.
