Although the Spanish white-bean soup originated in the Galicia region of Spain, the soup is well known throughout the Latin world. With a slightly smoky flavor, it's delicious on its own or with the addition of ham or Spanish chorizo. The soup is easy to prepare and healthy, too, with a good dose of protein and fiber.
