Organic Wilelaiki Blossom Honey
user rating
Our organic Wilelaiki Blossom Honey is produced from the Christmasberry tree, which is native to Brazil and introduced to Hawaii at the turn of the 20th century. These trees grow abundantly near cliffs overlooking the turquoise Pacific. We move our apiaries to collect nectar from these blossoms in September, and begin harvesting the honey in October. The honey has a subtle smokiness and peppery finish, with a light amber color. Very good in oatmeal and paired with cheeses and vegetables. See other recipes in our blog.
Flowers are to honey as grapes are to wine, and nectar from Hawaii's rare flowers produce some of the most distinctive and flavorful honeys. Our beautifully packaged single floral Hawaiian honeys are a delicious way to share and explore Hawaii.
