This handmade toffee is made the old-fashioned way, simply with natural ingredients. Sugar, corn syrup, real butter and fresh California almonds make this a heavenly treat. Blended together with our 70-year-old recipe and then rolled in ground almonds, the results are mouthwatering.
Idaho Candy Company began as a dream for T.O. Smith in his home in 1901. In 1909 Mr. Smith teamed up with the Adams family to build a modern factory in Boise, Idaho, to meet the needs of his customers. Three of the original candy bars are still in production: Idaho Spud Bar (1918), Old Faithful Bar (1925) and the Cherry Cocktail Bar (1926). We now have the new Huckleberry Gems and three varieties of Owyhee Butter Toffee (1925). Today, Idaho Candy also makes about 20 different kinds of bulk candies in the original factory.
