Rye-Ola Breads are very dense northern European-style breads made of 100% chopped whole rye and are all 100% whole grain and wheat-free. There are eleven 1/4-inch thick slices per 1-lb. package. Serving suggestions include open-faced as a sandwich or cut in half and served with salmon, cream cheese and capers or toasted and served with butter or jam. Available in rye, pumpernickel, sunflower, and flax; six 16-oz. packages per case.

Fred Rubschlager founded Rubschlager Baking Corp. in Chicago in 1913 as a neighborhood bakery and is still a family-owned business with distribution in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Best-known for their Cocktail Breads, available in four varieties, Rubschlager also produces “Squares” and “Rye-Olas.” The Squares, dense and fairly smooth in texture, are available in seven varieties. The Rye-Olas are a group of four breads made with 100% chopped, whole rye, in a Northern Europe style. Additionally, the company produces dinner and sandwich rolls, toasted mini chips, giant (10 lb.) loaves, sandwich breads and a group of half-loaf cocktail breads.
