Tenuta di Capezzana, in Carmignano, Tuscany, is a classic Medici-era villa with a 345 acre farm that has produced olive oil and wine since 804 A.D. The estate is owned by the Bonacossi family. At Capezzana, the olives are picked in November before the first frost. Within 24 hours of the harvest, they are immediately crushed. Continuous cycle olive processing is the extraction technique of choice. This unfiltered olive oil is a multiple award winner.
