the people's pickle
user rating
What's up with the people's pickle? Simply put, the people have spoken. For years, folks have wondered when Rick's Picks, which is based on the Lower East Side of New York, would come up with a pickle that evoked the mouthwatering spirit and classic flavor of New York deli pickles. The People's Pickle is a chunky, garlicky slice with hints of coriander and dill. Just try to have only one. Even better, The People's Pickle continues our emphasis on health and wellness: it is all natural and low sodium.
Founder and CEO Rick Field grew up making traditional pickles with his family in Vermont, and after a career in TV production decided to make his passion for pickling into a business. His pickles are distinguished by their exceptional quality, with an unusual array of varieties and flavor profiles. Rick's Picks, with offices on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, makes 14 varieties of shelf stable pickles. The pickles are hand-packed and all natural, made in season with produce from local farmers. They bring innovation to a category that hasn't seen much change in a long time.
