2 3/4 cup water
cooksimple Tibetan Dal
1 Tbsp. oil
10-oz. can diced tomatoes
salt, to taste
cayenne pepper, to taste
1. In medium pot, bring 2 ¾ cups water to a boil; add lentil pack. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until lentils are tender.
2. Add oil to a small pan over medium-low heat, then add spice pack and stir 4 to 5 minutes or until fragrant.
3. Add warmed spices and drained diced tomatoes to lentils, then stir. Season to taste with salt and cayenne pepper.
