Wasabi & Soy Peanuts

From a farm pond to the waters of the Roanoke, Chowan, and Cashie Rivers, our local farmer friends know their fish. And, they know how to cook them: baked, broiled, stewed, or fried. But, never, ever raw! As Papa Jack said many times, "Raw fish is bait". So, the raw fish known as sushi has never found much of a following here in Bertie County. Still, we're willing to try almost any food once. With that in mind we are pleased to announce our newest peanut flavor: Bertie County Wasabi and Soy Peanuts. These blister fried peanuts start with a Wasabi-generated "bang" that eases into an earthy soy flavor, and goodness, they are tasty.

Website: http://www.pnuts.net/

Bertie County Peanuts was founded on the principal that consumers deserve only the best peanuts. Thus, the company produces peanut products made only from super extra large Virginia-type peanuts, the largest on the market. Bertie County Peanuts are locally grown and packaged in recyclable plastic jars so that the products are visible. The product line is diverse and includes as its focal point and largest seller Super Extra Large Blister Fried Cocktail Peanuts. In addition, there are sweet products, savory and spicy blends, as well as trail mixes, boiled peanuts, raw peanuts, roasted-in-the-shell peanuts, all-natural peanut butter, and cashews.
