Zocalo Gourmet Mesquite Algarroba Organic Flour

Derived from algarroba trees, native to northern Peru, this organic flour is naturally gluten-free. Algarroba pods are dried and milled, producing a mesquite powder. Its flavor is sweet and slightly smoky—complementing cinnamon, chocolate, caramel and coffee flavors. This flour can be for baking, as a seasoning for foods sweet and savory or even a juice sweetener or protein powder. Algarroba flour is free of sugar, nuts, wheat, soy and dairy.
